Our client in the West of Ireland is a leading innovator in the research, design, development and manufacture of biomaterial product solutions for medical implants. With expansions plans for 2020, they are looking to add a Quality Assurance Engineer to help them reach their targets.

The Client

You will be joining a team with a proven track record of innovative design and quality assured manufacturing, partnering with companies ranging from medical start-ups to world-leading tier 1 medical device companies. You will be assisting the conversion of concepts into cutting edge implantable solutions. 

What you will need

You will need to have a minimum Level 8 in Engineering, Science or a related field and 3 years’ experience in the industry. For this position you will need to have experience in medical devices, ideally involved in or supporting design services activities. You will need to be able to prioritise tasks while working on multiple projects and assignments. The combination of these qualities will set you up for success in this role

What you will be doing

You will act as the quality assurance representative Design Services Projects. One of your duties will be developing and maintaining documentation in compliance with FDA, ISO, MDD requirements. Another duty in your scope will be involved in the process of initiating and approving validation protocols and engineering change notices.
