The Production operator is responsible for assembling, testing, inspecting, and packaging per work instructions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Prepare product for shipment, including cleaning, limited inspecting, packaging, and shipping newly manufactured parts.
Perform detailed inspection on all parts within the facility.
Prioritise work orders with other colleagues to ensure production schedules are maintained
Comply with policies, guidelines, and regulatory requirements
Maintain a clean and organised work area to facilitate manufacturing functions
Complete scrap records, training records, and other documentation as required
Complete basic production, health, safety, and environmental hazard training courses as required
Communicate status of work and report problems with quality, processes, equipment, or materials to the Production Manager
Other duties as assigned by the Production Manager
Previous experience in production role is essential.
Good knowledge Safety standards.
Educated to leaving certificate or higher.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills essential- must be able to read, write and effectively communicate in English.
Previous experience preparing documentation accurately is desirable.
Strong manual handling skills and work ethic.
Must be available for shift work (Days, Evenings, and nights)
Strong teamwork, with an ability to work on own initiative.
