We are currently recruiting for a number of Midwives to work in Victoria with our Client.  This is a rural location, with excellent benefits such as low cost of living, excellent work/life balance, great opportunity to relocate your family to a community-focused area with great weather (pretty much all year around!)

About the Role: 

Our client is currently recruiting for Midwives to join their Maternity Services.  The hospital  has 170 beds and offers services in Emergency, Maternity, Intensive Care, General Medicine and Surgery, Oncology, Medical Imaging, Pathology, Dialysis and Mental Health.

Maternity Services

  • 3 Birthing Suites

  • 4 Cot Level 3 Special Care Nursery

  • 8 Antenatal / Postnatal Beds

  • Approximately 900 births per year  - so still busy enough with an average of 2 births a day, but you still have time to devote to the other maternity areas..

Minimum Requirements for the role:
  • Minimum 2 years experience as a Midwife in public or private hospital in Ireland / UK

  • AHPRA registration or AHPRA in Principle

  • Ability to work as part of a team and independently as required
