Anaesthetic Nurses required for an acute public hospital setting in Sydney, New South Wales.

Anaesthetic Service at RPAH
Encompasses 2 theatre complexes which consist of 25 operating theatres covering multiple surgical specialities including:
The complex also includes an MRI Suite, hybrid robotic theatre. Anaesthetic support is also supplied to a satellite locations such as radiology, cardiac cath lab and endoscopy.
Being a trauma hospital RPAH often manages critically ill patients. The Anaesthetic Assistants need to be able to think quickly, troubleshoot, and perform under pressured conditions.
About the Role:
The Anaesthetic Assistant Service comprises of RN’s, EN’s and Technicians. RPAH runs a 24 hour service; however the majority of surgery is performed Monday through Friday. Shift staffing numbers are dependent on the number of theatre sessions running. There is also an on call component to the role in order to cover general, radiology, cardiothoracic and liver transplant services. Shifts vary from 6, 8, 10 and 12 hours.
Minimum Requirements for the Role:
- Applicants must have experience working in Irish or UK acute healthcare settings.
- Qualified nurse with a post graduate qualification in Anaesthetic Nursing.
- AHPRA Registered.
- Salary range for a Registered Nurse (level 1) is $62,619.50 (Year 1) to $87,926.11 (Year 8).
