Job Description
My client, a multinational company located in the heart of Sligo, are currently looking for an Accounts Assistant.
This role is a part time, permanent role. (Monday to Friday 08:00 – 13:00)
Your Role as an Accounts Assistant:
As an Accounts Assistant, you will be dealing with all aspects of accounts from accounts payable/receivable invoicing to reporting to the parent group.
Your Responsibilities:
- AP / AR Duties
- Payment of invoices online
- Invoicing
- Creditor Statement Reconciliation
- Liaising & Communicating with suppliers / customers
- General admin duties
- Complete CSO forms as and when required and submit in a timely fashion (some are monthly etc.)
- Revenue Returns
- Assist with the annual budget
- Month end preparation
- Preparation of Management Accounts
- Product Costing’s
- Reporting to the parent company on time
- Other ad hoc reports as required
You Will Need:
- Minimum third level qualification from a recognised Accountancy body
- 1 to 2 years in Accountancy Experience
- Good working knowledge of MS Office and in particular MS Excel
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong organization skills
- Ability to work on own initiative
Hours of Work:
- Monday to Friday 08:00 – 13:00
