Top Australian Nurse Managers Embark On Irish & UK Interview Campaign

Jobs on offer as expanding Sydney hospital recruiting across numerous disciplines.

A high level team of nurse managers have arrived in Ireland to start their two-week journey in search of staff for their expanding hospital.

Staff from St. George Hospital in Sydney, Australia, have been working closely with ICE Group throughout 2016, and are now in Dublin meeting the first of their potential new hires. Their schedule will allow them to meet interested candidates not only in Ireland, but also London, Edinburgh and Manchester as they look to offer new career opportunities to those willing to make the move.

Speaking about the motivation for Irish nurses to enquire about these roles, ICE Jobs Director, Margaret Cox, noted that the opportunity to explore a new culture is too hard to ignore. “The pay and conditions are better, the lifestyle plays an important part too – being able to go for a walk or a swim after work makes it so much more appealing,” said Cox.

“We have many nurses from the UK and Ireland working with us already,” said Vicki Manning, the Director of Nursing and Midwifery Services at St. George Hospital, Sydney. “They are an integral part of our hospital, so with the expansion we hope to offer some of our new roles to nurses who want to further their career with us,” she said.

Nurses across Theatre, ICU/Intensive/Critical Care, Surgical, Medical, Mental Health, & Midwifery disciplines are encouraged to apply, with interview spaces filling up fast.

Free information sessions will be held in Dublin, London, Edinburgh and Manchester from October 24th – November 4th, where interested parties can meet with the ICE Jobs team. Bookings can be made via phone on (ROI) 1890 546 700, (UK Freephone) 0800 096 4317 or by emailing nurse@icegroup.ie today.
