Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive mental health and risk assessments
- Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions
- Provide recovery-focused, person-centred care
- Administer and monitor medications safely
- Respond to acute mental health presentations and crises
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on treatment planning and discharge coordination
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and care records
- Support consumers, families, and carers throughout their recovery journey
Requirements
- Registered Mental Health Nurse
- Minimum 2-3 years post-registration Mental Health Nursing experience in the UK / Irish Healthcare system
- Experience within inpatient, acute, community, crisis, or rehabilitation mental health settings
- Hold, or be eligible for, AHPRA registration
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Commitment to evidence-based practice and continuous professional development
