Procurement Officer: Digitisation & Standardisation of Processes and Paperwork
Location: Rinville, Oranmore, Co. Galway (On-site)
Contract: 6 months with potential 6-month extension
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Our client is seeking a Procurement Officer to support the digitisation and standardisation of procurement documentation, processes, and training materials. The successful candidate will work closely with Procurement, HR, and key stakeholders to improve resources, streamline processes, and manage procurement content within SharePoint.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop procurement guidance, FAQs, process maps, and training materials.
- Support the digitisation and standardisation of procurement processes and documentation.
- Maintain SharePoint content, document libraries, and information architecture.
- Assist with process improvement initiatives and stakeholder engagement.
- Ensure procurement content is accurate, accessible, and compliant.
Requirements
- Relevant third-level qualification in Business, Procurement, Communications, Information Management, or related field.
- Experience with SharePoint content management.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience creating guidance documents, training materials, or digital content.
- Knowledge of procurement processes and governance principles.
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
