About the Role:
Our client an established Hospital in Dublin is seeking a dependable and hardworking General Operative to join our team on a 6-month contract. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who is proactive, physically capable, and committed to maintaining a high standard of service in a busy healthcare environment.
Contract Type: 6-Month Fixed Term
Salary Range: €35,195 – €42,723 per annum
Working Hours: Monday – Thursday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM and Friday: 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive a HSE van around the hospital campus, delivering and collecting supplies and equipment
- Load and unload materials safely at various locations across a large hospital site
- Follow all health and safety procedures while performing duties
- Work collaboratively with the wider facilities and support services teams
Essential Requirements:
- Full, clean driving licence (eligible to drive a HSE vehicle)
- Valid Manual Handling Certificate
- Previous experience in a similar operative or facilities support role is desirable
- Ability to carry out physically demanding tasks, including lifting and moving items
- Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills and a professional, helpful attitude
