Managing the international market research and interpretation of data from multiple sources to identify trends of international recruitment, marketing, mobility and partnership strategies of the Colleges and Professional Service Units.
Temporary contract, approx 6 months with an immediate start-Galway City
- Work closely with key stakeholders to understand and maintain focus on their analytics needs, including critical metrics and KPIs, and deliver actionable insights to relevant decision-makers
- Proactively analyse data to answer key questions for stakeholders or yourself, with an eye on what drives business performance, and investigate and communicate which areas need improvement in efficiency and productivity
- Create and maintain rich interactive visualizations through data interpretation and analysis, with reporting components from multiple data sources
- Present findings in structured reports and formal presentations.
- Support management with ad hoc analytical requests.
Essential Criteria Required (Skills and/or Experience)
- Level 8 qualification in Data Science, Data analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or related quantitative discipline.
- Technical writing experience in relevant areas, including queries, reports, and presentations
- Strong analytical capability using Python
- Experience with Power BI and writing DAX
- Advanced Excel skills (Power Query, pivot tables, complex formulas).
- Experience of CRM recruit (Ellucian) and Discoverer
Desirable Criteria Required (Skills and/or Experience)
- Experience of working in third level Education
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, proven ability to produce professional correspondence and reports
- Demonstrable ability to plan and organise own workload in an effective manner within strict deadlines.
