Armidale

Armidale is a city in the Northern Tablelands, New South Wales, Australia. Armidale had a population of 24,504 as at June 2017. It is the administrative centre for the Northern Tablelands region. It is approximately halfway between Sydney and Brisbane at the junction of the New England Highway and Waterfall Way. Midwife 

Our client is recently completed a $60m redevelopment of the hospital resulting in brand building for the ED, medical ward and theatres, as well as ICU and day surgery units.  The hospital delivered 428 babies in 2018, which is more than one a day.

Your role as a Midwife within the maternity services will be providing full continuity of care for families and moms in their journey through pregnancy, birth and beginning of parenthood.

Successful Candidate will have:

Direct or Dual Qualified Midwife

  • 5 years plus experience in Midwifery within a hospital or community environment
  • Experience rotating across all areas of maternity services
  • AHPRA registered or AHPRA in principle
  • Experience working with families from all cultural backgrounds, demonstrating a commitment to providing culturally appropriate and sensitive care.
