Job Description

An exciting Lead Purchaser role is available with one of our clients in Leitrim. Occasional travel may be required, with the successful candidate responsible for buying goods and services for the company at competitive prices and within budgets set. They must forecast level of demand and monitor stock levels as well as build and maintain good relationships, negotiate and agree contracts and monitor levels of service.  Other duties include producing reports, statistics and give presentations if required of market analysis, Input of Purchase orders, deliveries and invoices, incoming goods paperwork and other associated admin tasks.

  • 3rd level qualification in a related subject
  • Excellent computer and numerical skills
  • 1 – 2  years’ experience in a similar role would be desirable.
