Our client in the Logistics and Transport industry is seeking an experienced Office Administrator to join their team on a Permanent basis in Oranmore. As an Office Administrator, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day administrative tasks of the office, ensuring the smooth running of operations and maintaining a high level of customer service. This role is office based, in Oranmore Co. Galway.
Hours of work are 10am – 7pm Monday to Friday
Responsibilities:
- Answering and directing calls from customers and dealing with queries over the phone
- Managing correspondence, including emails, letters and packages
- Coordinating and scheduling appointments and meeting
- Entering data on Freight management System
- Downloading customer bookings from OBS
- Uploading manifests to external delivery agents
- Updating and maintaining records and databases
- Liaising with other departments and external stakeholders
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Office Administrator or similar role
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage competing demands
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in logistics or supply chain industry preferred
