Our busy Logistics and Transport client is seeking an experienced Permanent Night Shift Supervisor to oversee their night shift operations in Oranmore. As a Night Shift Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our warehouse and distribution center during the night shift.

Responsibilities:

• Managing and supervising night shift workers, ensuring they are working safely and efficiently
• Planning and assigning workloads to team members
• Monitoring and maintaining warehouse and distribution center operations during the night shift
• Ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and productivity standards
• Collaborating with other departments to coordinate activities and ensure smooth operations
• Providing regular feedback and coaching to team members to improve their performance
• Investigating and resolving any issues or complaints related to night shift operations
• Maintaining accurate records and reports related to night shift activities
• Maintaining a positive and respectful work environment

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Night Shift Supervisor or similar role
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to manage and motivate a team
• Knowledge of warehouse and distribution center operations and processes
• Understanding of safety and quality standards
• Flexibility to work night shifts and weekends
