A leading manufacturer of precision wire‑based materials, producing high‑performance stainless steel wire for use in life‑improving medical devices. This role involves hands-on machine setup, process adjustment using calculations, and strict adherence to quality and regulatory standards in a fast-paced production setting.
Key Responsibilities
– Manufacture of medical grade stainless-steel wire in compliance with required quality standards.
– Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and maintain accurate documentation.
– Conduct testing and evaluation of in-process materials to ensure suitability for final production.
Working Conditions
– Continental shift pattern (2x 12hr days followed by 2x 12hr nights)
– Role involves standing and being on your feet for extended periods
– Fast-paced, precision-focused production environment
Candidate Profile
We are looking for candidates who demonstrate:
– Problem-solving ability and confidence working with calculations
– Reliability and ability to work long shifts
– A disciplined and consistent approach to work
– Comfort working in a regulated, high-spec environment
Preferred Experience
– Previous experience in manufacturing or production environments desirable but not essential
– Machine setup or mechanical experience
– Experience using production or data recording systems an advantage
