As a Pitman Training Coach & Sales Advisor, you will play a key role in both supporting students throughout their learning journey and driving course sales by engaging with prospective learners, understanding their needs, and recommending training programmes that help them achieve their ambitions. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys a mix of sales, customer relationship management, and student support in a dynamic and rewarding environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Engage with prospective students, identify their training needs, and recommend suitable courses and learning pathways.
- Convert enquiries into enrolments through consultative selling and exceptional customer service.
- Follow up on leads, maintain a healthy sales pipeline, and contribute to achieving enrolment and revenue targets.
- Build strong relationships with students, supporting them throughout their learning journey to maximise satisfaction and retention.
- Conduct student inductions and provide ongoing guidance and support.
- Manage student attendance, payments, progress tracking, and related administration.
- Coordinate course logistics, examinations, learning materials, and technical support requirements.
- Maintain accurate student records and CRM data.
- Collaborate closely with the Sales Team, Centre Management, and other departments to drive business growth.
- Assist with marketing initiatives, open days, networking events, and promotional campaigns.
- Represent and promote the Pitman Training brand through local business engagement, social media, and community events.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and health and safety requirements.

What We’re Looking For
- Experience in sales, customer service, account management, or business development.
- Proven ability to build relationships, influence decisions, and achieve sales targets.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Confidence in engaging with prospective students and identifying their training needs.
- Excellent organisational and administrative skills with strong attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Experience using CRM systems would be advantageous.
- Familiarity with education, training, or learning and development environments is desirable.
- A proactive, target-driven mindset and a passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences.
- Full clean driving licence and willingness to travel.
