Duties:
- Support the day-to-day operations of the School Office.
- Supervise administrative staff and support the Head of School.
- Coordinate meetings, timetables, contracts, budgets, and facilities.
- Support examinations, postgraduate admissions, and academic processes.
- Monitor School finances and prepare expenditure reports.
- Track expenditure using existing Excel spreadsheets and ensure budgeted funds are spent appropriately and remain within budget.
- Process a high volume of TSS contracts and support key administrative requirements associated with the start of the academic semester.
- Assist with marketing, communications, outreach, and student recruitment activities.
- Work with university systems to support administrative and operational processes.
- Identify and resolve issues efficiently to support the smooth running of School activities.
Requirements:
- Level 8 qualification in a relevant discipline and/or 5 years’ relevant experience.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar administrative role.
- At least 3 years’ staff supervision experience.
- Experience tracking financial information and monitoring expenditure.
- Strong organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Comfortable working with university systems and managing multiple priorities in a busy environment.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced administrator to join a busy School environment and provide high-level operational and administrative support. Full training will be provided. The ideal candidate will be comfortable tracking financial information, working with university systems, and problem-solving to support a successful start to the academic semester.
