The HR Administrator will provide comprehensive administrative support to the Human Resources Department. The successful candidate will work closely with colleagues across multiple departments, supporting HR processes, maintaining employee records, and assisting with recruitment and compliance activities.
Key Responsibilities

- Provide general administrative support to the HR Department.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR files.
- Scan, upload, and manage contracts, recruitment documentation, and compliance-related records.
- Ensure HR records are maintained in line with data protection legislation and confidentiality requirements.
- Assist with the retrieval, filing, and organisation of HR documentation.
- Support recruitment activities, including posting job advertisements, scheduling interviews, and carrying out initial candidate screening.
- Support the department with reporting and administrative projects as required.
- Maintain awareness of health and safety procedures and comply with all workplace safety requirements.
- Undertake additional duties and responsibilities as reasonably required to support departmental and organisational needs.
- Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in response to evolving service requirements.
Requirements Qualifications
- Good general education to Leaving Certificate standard or equivalent.
- Qualification in Administration, Human Resources, ECDL, or a related discipline is desirable.
- Full clean driver’s licence and access to a vehicle is essential.
Experience
- Previous experience in HR administration is essential.
- Experience working within the disability, healthcare, social care, or not-for-profit sector would be advantageous.
- Experience supporting recruitment and HR processes is desirable.

- Strong administrative and organisational abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
- Strong IT and data management skills.
- Accurate with a high level of attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritise workload and manage competing deadlines.
- Sound judgement and problem-solving ability.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.
- Strong time management skills and a reliable approach to work.
- Touch-typing skills desirable.
Working Hours
- 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
- Working hours may vary in line with operational requirements.
Annual Leave
- 24 days annual leave per annum.
