Job Title: Administrative Assistant
Location: Oranmore, Co. Galway
Contract: 6-Month Temporary Contract

Overview A leading public sector organisation is seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to support the Head of Compliance & Operational Management. This role will provide key administrative support across risk, compliance, governance, and corporate services functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support relating to Risk Management and Business Continuity Planning
  • Coordinate elements of the organisation’s Policy Framework, including stakeholder liaison, document updates, and maintaining registers
  • Assist with ARC and other meeting preparation activities
  • Support audit coordination as required
  • Set up and maintain SharePoint sites
  • Update website and intranet content
  • Conduct desktop research as required
  • Assist with tendering and procurement activities
  • Provide general administrative support across compliance, risk, governance, and corporate services functions
  • Carry out ad hoc administrative duties as required
Candidate Requirements
  • Strong administrative skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Proven ability to build and maintain effective working relationships
  • Experience using Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience working in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments
  • Ability to work on own initiative while contributing as part of a team
  • High level of discretion and confidentiality
  • Experience within a Governance, Risk, or Compliance environment is desirable
