Overview A leading public sector organisation is seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to support the Head of Compliance & Operational Management. This role will provide key administrative support across risk, compliance, governance, and corporate services functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support relating to Risk Management and Business Continuity Planning
- Coordinate elements of the organisation’s Policy Framework, including stakeholder liaison, document updates, and maintaining registers
- Assist with ARC and other meeting preparation activities
- Support audit coordination as required
- Set up and maintain SharePoint sites
- Update website and intranet content
- Conduct desktop research as required
- Assist with tendering and procurement activities
- Provide general administrative support across compliance, risk, governance, and corporate services functions
- Carry out ad hoc administrative duties as required
Candidate Requirements
- Strong administrative skills with excellent attention to detail
- Proven ability to build and maintain effective working relationships
- Experience using Microsoft Office applications
- Experience working in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments
- Ability to work on own initiative while contributing as part of a team
- High level of discretion and confidentiality
- Experience within a Governance, Risk, or Compliance environment is desirable
