Overview
We are looking for a Sales Executive to join ICE Group’s growing Business Development team in Galway.
This role will suit someone who enjoys proactive outreach, building relationships, and developing new business opportunities across our Recruitment and Payroll services.
You will play a key role in generating leads, qualifying opportunities, and working closely with internal teams to convert prospects into secured business—while maintaining a professional and consultative approach with clients.
What You’ll Be Doing
Business Development & Sales Activity
– Identify and develop new business opportunities across public and private sector organisations
– Execute a structured outreach plan including cold and warm calling, LinkedIn engagement, referrals, and inbound follow-up
– Engage decision-makers, understand client needs, and position relevant solutions
– Qualify opportunities and progress them through the pipeline
– Maintain accurate CRM records including notes and next steps
Client Relationship Development
– Build credibility quickly with prospects through strong communication and follow-up
– Identify cross-service opportunities across Recruitment and Payroll
– Maintain an active professional network within target sectors
Opportunity & Pipeline Management
– Manage early-stage opportunities from initial contact through qualification
– Keep pipeline activity up to date with clear tracking and updates
Internal Collaboration
– Work closely with Marketing on campaigns and outreach activity
– Provide feedback on lead quality and market trends
– Liaise with delivery teams to support smooth handover of secured business

Skills & Experience
Essential
– Experience in sales, business development, or a commercial role
– Comfortable with proactive outreach and phone-based sales activity
– Strong communication and organisational skills
– Self-motivated and target-driven
– CRM and Microsoft Office proficiency
Desirable
– Experience in recruitment, staffing, HR, or payroll services
– Understanding of recruitment or payroll delivery models
– Experience supporting proposals or preparing commercial documents
