Business Development Representative
About the Role
ICE Group are looking for a Business Development Representative who enjoys engaging with people, is confident starting conversations, and wants to build a career in business development.
You’ll play a key role in introducing ICE Group’s People Centred Services to new organisations across both public and private sectors, supporting new business activity and building early-stage client relationships.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Support outbound activity (calls, LinkedIn outreach, follow-ups)
- Learn how to identify potential clients and start conversations
- Work towards daily activity targets
- Get comfortable engaging with different businesses and decision-makers
Pipeline & Organisation
- Track activity and manage leads in our CRM
- Support qualification of opportunities (needs, timelines, etc.)
- Gradually take ownership of early-stage conversations
Relationship Building
- Build rapport through consistent, professional communication
- Develop confidence in follow-up and maintaining contact
- Support events and networking where relevant
Learning & Development
- Take part in structured sales training and on-the-job coaching
- Work closely with senior team members to learn how deals are progressed
- Gain exposure to different parts of the business (Marketing, Recruitment, Payroll, Training)
