Overview Our client is seeking a Post Entry Support / Placement Planning Coordinator. This role focuses on enhancing student access, retention, and successful transition into higher education and the workplace.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide one-to-one guidance and ongoing support to students from underrepresented backgrounds in higher education
- Manage a caseload of students, coordinating supports and monitoring progress in collaboration with internal departments
- Develop and maintain strong referral and advocacy networks both internally and with external agencies
- Work closely with Placement Officers to support students in preparing for work placements, including:
- CV development
- Interview preparation
- One-to-one coaching
- Prepare Placement Planning Reports, outlining reasonable accommodations required during placement
- Provide ongoing support to students throughout their placement period
Skills & Experience
- Minimum Level 8 degree (or equivalent)
- Experience working in the higher education sector
- Proven experience delivering one-to-one support
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with experience collaborating with internal and external partners
- Experience with Power BI reporting and SharePoint site development
- Knowledge of access and widening participation policies and procedures
- Ability to work in a target-driven environment and manage competing priorities
