Key Responsibilities:
- Clean production machines, tooling areas, machine sumps, and surrounding workspaces
- Remove metal shavings, oil residue, coolant buildup, and waste materials safely and efficiently
- Support preventative maintenance activities as directed
- Maintain clean floors, aisles, storage areas, and general housekeeping standards
- Report any machine leaks, damage, or safety concerns immediately
- Work closely with operators, supervisors, and maintenance personnel
- Ensure cleaning tasks are completed without disrupting production schedules
- Follow all environmental, health, and safety procedures
- Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies
- Assist with waste disposal and recycling procedures
Competencies:
- Strong attention to detail and housekeeping standards
- Reliable with a strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Comfortable working around machinery and industrial equipment
- Ability to follow safety procedures and workplace policies
- Flexible attitude toward shift work and overtime where required
Experience & Requirements:
- Previous manufacturing or industrial experience preferred
- Experience cleaning machinery or industrial equipment beneficial but not essential
- Forklift or industrial cleaning equipment experience advantageous
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Candidates must have eligibility to work in Ireland
- Own transport may be required depending on location/shifts
