We are hiring a Cleaner to join our clients team in Manorhamilton for a temporary contract. The key role is to maintain cleanliness / hygiene and health and safety standards within the factory. This is a part time role. 15 hours per week. Monday to Friday 5pm to 8pm
Role and Responsibilities
- Perform cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping,hoovering, and dusting designated areas of the factory floor, offices, toilets, and common areas.
- Empty bins and dispose of waste materials in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Clean and sanitise surfaces, machinery, equipment, and other fixtures using appropriate
- Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies as needed, ensuring adequate stock levels are maintained.
- Follow safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) when handling cleaning chemicals or operating cleaning equipment.
- Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or cleaning supply shortages to the supervisor promptly.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and guidelines to maintain a clean and hazard-free work environment.
Skills Profile:
- Previous experience in commercial or industrial cleaning preferred, but not required.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards.
- Physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive tasks while standing, bending, and lifting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility to work during non-standard hours or weekends if necessary.
