Location: Oranmore, Galway

Reporting To: Sean Og Leydon – Operation Manager
Hours: 39 hours Mon – Fri day 7.30-4pm. Annual leave is 1.67 days per month
Pay: €19.03 per hour
Additional Information:
- Potential for some overtime mainly in the summer months. Overtime is at 1.5 time
- Specific H & S instructions will be covered with a mandatory safety induction by our HSE team.
- PPE will be provided by Colas
- Interview would be preferable
Role
Purpose of this role is to run the day-to-day of the manufacturing facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Controls the automated or non-automated production system which contributes to the configuration of the data required for production and implements the instructions determined by the plant/quarry manager.
- Monitors the quality and quantity of production in progress, sets up, operates, and maintains production equipment or machinery.
- Manages raw material procurement requests.
- Produces the elements necessary for reporting: production report, productivity and efficiency indicators, etc.
- Reports malfunctions to maintenance teams.
- Can control the customer loading station loads the product while respecting quality and quantity, packages, stores, and ships completed goods.
- Responsible for offloading of bitumen
KPI’s / Objectives
- To ensure that all safety, quality and environmental policies are achieved.
- Maintain compliance standards of ISO 4001 & IPPC (Integrated Pollution Prevention & Control)
- Manufacture all products according to the recipes and laboratory instructions.
- Ensure that activities are completed within estimated guidelines.
