Our Galway city based client are currently recruiting for a Buyer/Manager in their Ladies Fashion Department
The ideal candidate is someone with current commercial experience and drive, who can grow sales and interpret trends. It is essential that interested candidates are already operating at Buyer/Manager level, have extensive development and sourcing knowledge and are from a fashion background.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Sourcing and Buying of Womenswear
- Assist in the management of the Ladies Fashions Department including its day-to-day operations.
- Oversee merchandising of the department including in-store displays in conjunction with the store manager.
- Be involved in stock control and management
- Providing exceptional sales service to the customer
Required:
- 4+ years experience in Buying Ladies Fashion and Management
- Strong background in fashion development and sourcing, with the ability to identify trends and translate them into commercial, on-brand products.
- Proven track record of effectively assisting in the delivery of successful fashion ranges and achieving sales targets
- Excellent product Knowledge of womenswear
- A commercial mindset, balances with creativity and a passion for fashion
- Keen eye for detail with a commercial aptitude
- Proficiency with MS Office and relevant retail systems
- Travel is part of the role
