The Service Co‑ordinator will oversee the day‑to‑day operations of the Sligo Training Centre
Key Responsibilities
- Provide guidance, support, and assistance to learners attending the training centre
- Encourage learners to make use of the centre’s services and available digital resources
- Liaise with learners and assist with enrolment on relevant courses
- Communicate with local scheme organisers and coordinators to promote the service to the wider community
- Facilitate remote enrolments using Microsoft Teams where required.
- Complete all necessary administrative work in line with organisational requirements.
- Provide basic tuition to help learners access and engage with online courses.
- Monitor learner progress on an ongoing basis and maintain accurate records in the systems provided.
- Facilitate online exams both in‑centre and remotely.
- Collaborate with course providers and deliver local support when necessary.
- Contribute to growing learner numbers and participation on an ongoing basis.
- Full-time working hours during the week are structured to facilitate finishing at lunchtime on Fridays.
