Healthcare Tutors – Multiple positions, Nationwide (Various Projects)

About the Role
ICE Group is currently recruiting Healthcare Tutors to join our national panel for ongoing and upcoming healthcare education projects including Healthcare QQI level 5 & Healthcare Supervisory management L6 across Ireland. These roles offer flexible, project-based opportunities to deliver high-quality training to learners across a range of healthcare and community settings.
Tutors may be engaged on short-term or rolling contracts, depending on project requirements, learner numbers, and location.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging, learner-centred healthcare training in line with agreed curricula and awarding body standards
- Facilitate face-to-face, blended, and/or virtual training sessions as required
- Prepare lesson plans, training materials, and learner supports
- Assess learners’ knowledge and practical competence in line with programme requirements
- Maintain accurate learner records, attendance, and assessment documentation
- Ensure training delivery aligns with current legislation, best practice, and quality assurance standards
- Work collaboratively with ICE Group QA teams, coordinators, and client stakeholders
- Promote a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
Essential Requirements
- Relevant healthcare qualification (e.g. Nursing, Healthcare Support, Social Care or related discipline or equivalent)
- Previous experience delivering training, education, mentoring, or clinical supervision
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage own schedule
- Willingness to travel within assigned regions (where required)
- QQI Level 6 Training Delivery or equivalent (or willingness to work towards)
Desirable Criteria
- Teaching, Training, or Education qualification (e.g. QQI Level 6/7, Train the Trainer)
- Experience delivering QQI, accredited, or compliance-based healthcare programmes
- Familiarity with blended or online learning platforms
- Assessor or Internal Verifier experience
- Current certifications relevant to healthcare training (e.g. Manual Handling Instructor, BLS Instructor)
