About the Role
We are seeking experienced Critical Care Nurses to join hospital teams across the Far West region of New South Wales. You’ll provide high-level nursing care to acutely ill patients in Intensive Care and High Dependency Units, working within a collaborative and supportive healthcare environment.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering evidence-based care to critically ill and high-dependency patients
- Monitoring and managing complex clinical presentations and life-support equipment
- Administering medications, IV therapies, and emergency interventions
- Coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to optimise patient outcomes
- Supporting families through the critical care journey
- Maintaining accurate clinical documentation and infection control standards
Requirements
- UK or Irish citizenship (eligible for Working Holiday Visa)
- Current or eligibility for AHPRA registration
- Full driver’s licence
- Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in critical care, ICU, or HDU settings
- Strong clinical and decision-making skills
- Adaptable, resilient, and ready for a new environment
