About the Role We are seeking experienced Theatre Nurses to join surgical teams across hospitals in the Far West region of NSW. You’ll play a vital role in delivering safe, high-quality perioperative care, supporting patients throughout all stages of their surgical journey.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing pre-, intra-, and post-operative nursing care
- Assisting surgeons and anaesthetists during procedures
- Preparing and maintaining operating theatres and equipment
- Monitoring patients’ vital signs and ensuring safety protocols are followed
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional outcomes
- Maintaining accurate documentation and infection control standards
Requirements
- UK or Irish citizenship (eligible for Working Holiday Visa)
- Current or eligibility for AHPRA registration
- Full driver’s licence
- Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in a perioperative/theatre setting
- Excellent clinical and communication skills
- Flexible, team-oriented, and ready to embrace a new environment
