Job Title: Business Solutions Director – Digital Transformation
Location: Galway (Hybrid)
Job Summary
The Business Solutions Leader will support the execution of the organisation’s business offerings to customers and drive growth in customer revenue through effective sales programmes, operational excellence, and delivery performance. The role is accountable for delivery quality (including identifying improvements to existing processes and methodologies), uncovering new opportunities within existing or new accounts, and providing strategic solutions and delivery planning.
Essential Job Functions
Maintain and Build the Business
In partnership with Sales, participate in account planning and new business opportunities to ensure alignment between account objectives and overall delivery programmes.
- Accountable for the Solutions business P&L and delivery operational performance. Shares responsibility for achieving revenue, sales bookings, and ensuring an excellent overall customer experience for designated accounts.
- Work with customers to understand their business model, challenges, and buying processes.
- Identify customer demand for solutions that address critical business challenges and explore opportunities to expand capabilities beyond the current portfolio.
- Collaborate with Marketing and Sales to ensure consistent customer messaging and continuous evolution of product and solution offerings.
- Participate in formal account reviews and contribute to account plans to support collaborative growth within assigned accounts.
Operational & Delivery Excellence
Deliver an exceptional customer experience by aligning on key business objectives and maintaining a strong focus on operational and delivery performance.
- Develop overall strategies for project delivery aligned with customer management goals, ensuring excellent customer service.
- Plan and supervise day-to-day execution of customer projects that meet or exceed quality, profitability, stability, timeline, and customer satisfaction metrics.
- Provide work estimates and ensure all programmes and solutions are delivered using best practices and established organisational standards and methodologies.
- Make recommendations to adjust project plans or priorities as necessary to meet goals.
- Manage internal P&L for each project and ensure the overall profitability of assigned accounts.
- Monitor progress, report regularly to stakeholders, and take corrective action as needed.
- Share best practices, help develop common methodologies across services, and collaborate internally to identify process improvements or new technology opportunities.
Grow and Develop Talent
In partnership with HR, ensure key employees are retained, developed, and aligned with company objectives.
- Provide day-to-day leadership to the Business Solutions team.
- Establish clear roles and responsibilities for direct reports.
- Oversee coaching, mentoring, and performance management within the team.
- Collaborate with HR to enhance talent management processes.
- Ensure training and development plans are in place and regularly reviewed for all direct employees to support continuous growth and capability development.
