Our partner, Tool and Gauge, based in Tubbercurry, is seeking a Graduate Quality Engineer to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a recent engineering graduate to begin a career in quality within a hands-on, supportive manufacturing environment.
Tool and Gauge is a leader in injection mould manufacture, precision engineering, and product design, delivering high-quality solutions across multiple industries. You’ll join a skilled and experienced team, where learning and development are central to the role.
Responsibilities (Full training and support provided):
- Assist in developing and maintaining quality standards and procedures
- Support testing activities and learn to identify issues and improvement areas
- Help review materials and technical drawings to ensure product accuracy
- Prepare quality documentation and assist in developing/updating SOPs
- Learn to apply process control and testing methods within production
- Participate in the ongoing maintenance and improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS)
- Assist with inspection and testing of moulded components and review against specifications
- Support the tracking and resolution of non-conformances and corrective actions
- Liaise with the team to monitor and address supplier-related quality issues
- Take part in internal and external audit preparations and quality improvement initiatives
Requirements:
- Qualification in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Electrical, Biomedical, or related engineering/science disciplines is a distinct advantage
- Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Interest in quality, manufacturing processes, and continuous improvement
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office and general IT systems
