Artic Truck Driver (Multi-Drop) for West of Ireland
Position Overview:
Our Client, a leading logistics company specialising in pallet and freight delivery across Ireland is seeking a skilled and reliable Multi-Drop Artic Truck Driver to join their team based in Galway.
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in transportation operations, ensuring the timely and secure delivery of goods to various destinations. This position offers immediate start with a competitive salary.
Responsibilities:
- Operate articulated trucks to make scheduled deliveries in a timely and secure manner.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies to ensure safe driving practices.
- Verify and complete all necessary paperwork, including invoices, delivery notes, and logbooks, accurately and promptly.
- Plan and organise daily routes to optimise time and fuel consumption.
- Ensure compliance with assigned route schedules.
- Efficiently load and unload trucks for deliveries, ensuring goods are securely stowed.
- Work closely and communicate effectively with the transport manager and other team members.
Qualifications:
- Possess a valid and CE license and up to date CPC Card.
- Physically fit and capable of handling freight.
- Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
