Landscape Project Manager

As Landscape Project Manager your role will be dynamic & multidimensional, you will be involved in turning visions into reality where no 2 days are alike.

 Project Oversight:

  • From initial planning to final installation, you will be the driving force behind project success.
  • This includes managing budgets, timelines, and resources to ensure that projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
  • Collaborate with landscape designers and architects to develop project plans and timelines.
  • Coordinate project logistics, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations and environmental standards.

Purchasing Management:

  • Source and evaluate vendors for materials, equipment, and services required for landscape projects.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with vendors to secure favourable terms and pricing.
  • Manage procurement processes, including purchase orders, invoicing, and payment tracking.

Budgeting and Cost Control:

  • Develop project budgets and forecasts in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Monitor project expenses and implement cost-saving measures where possible.
  • Review invoices and expenses to ensure accuracy and adherence to budgetary constraints.

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Cultivate strong customer relationships, focusing on excellent delivery standards and customer satisfaction, ensuring continued and repeating business and business referrals.

Vendor Relationship Management:

    • Cultivate strong relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
    • Address any issues or concerns raised by vendors promptly and effectively.
    • Conduct periodic performance reviews of vendors to assess quality and reliability.

Quality Assurance:

    • Oversee the quality of materials and workmanship throughout the project lifecycle.
    • Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications and industry standards.
    • Implement corrective actions as necessary to maintain quality standards.

Team Leadership and Communication:

    • Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, including contractors and subcontractors.
    • Promote positive and efficient work practices which cultivates a healthy work environment, with strong focus on teamwork and job satisfaction for all team members.
    • Resolve conflicts and mitigate risks to ensure project success.

Health & Safety


  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Studies, Project Management, Landscape Architecture, Horticulture, Business Administration, or related field or a proven track record in the Project Management arena.
  • Proven experience in project management, preferably in the landscaping or construction industry.
  • Strong understanding of landscape design principles, construction techniques, and horticultural practices.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of local regulations and permitting processes related to landscaping projects is a plus.
