Job Description
ICE Group are seeking a qualified Accountant who possesses a strong understanding of accounting basics, including Debits and Credits (Dr and Cr), Deferred Revenue, Provisions, Prepayments, and Accruals. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in our clients organisation, and offers flexibility in work location with the option to work remotely or from their office in Galway City.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support Finance in the delivery of a current open project
- Interact with various stakeholders in an evolving organisation structure. Making sure to ask questions and engage in active listening to ensure a smooth financial transition.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and controls.
- Perform regular reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial data.
- Accurately record financial transactions and maintain the general ledger.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
- Handle Deferred Revenue accounting, Provisions, Prepayments, and Accruals.
Qualifications:
- Qualified Accountant with 2 years PQE miniumum
- Strong knowledge of accounting fundamentals, including Debits and Credits (Dr and Cr), Deferred Revenue, Provisions, Prepayments, and Accruals.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to ask pertinent questions.
- Detail-oriented and capable of working with numerical data.
- Proficient in financial software and tools.
