Medical / Surgical Registered Nurse – Murrumbidgee Local Health District?
Murrumbidgee Local Health District (MLHD) are recruiting Registered Nurses with Medical and Surgical Experience. Across MLHD we have a variety of clinical environments that can provide a practitioner with opportunities in general medical, cardiology, respiratory, gastrointestinal, renal care. This along with general surgical nursing provides our Nurses with infinite opportunities and experiences. MLHD offers a range of modalities and support systems to provide this care including Telehealth, Virtual Nurse Assist and clinical expertise from Clinical Nurse Consultants and Nurse Practitioners.
All our services support our diverse groups of patients who have complex medical needs collaborating in a holistic approach with a vast multidisciplinary team including Community Health, Allied Health, and the Primary Health Network to assist patients achieve optimal health. Transitioning patients’ home to enjoy true quality of life is our end goal.
MLHD operates 33 public hospitals, 12 community health centres, employs over 3,800 staff and is supported by 33 Local Health Advisory Committees and hundreds of volunteers.

Eligibility
-
At least 3 years’ experience post registration?
-
For placements in specialty areas such as Critical Care, Surgical, Emergency, Perioperative, Renal, Cardiac Interventional Services, Aged Care, Rural Generalist Nurses, Mental Health/Drug & Alcohol, are expected to have a minimum of?12 months recent experience in their specialty area.

Must have AHPRA, NMBI or NMC Registration

TSS 482 nomination (allows you to stay for 2 to 4 years)

Pathway to Permanent Residency visa nomination

417 Working Holiday Visa holders are accepted – may also be eligible for further nomination
