The Job
This is an opportunity to be a member of a busy warehouse team who provide an excellent service to Chanelle customers, both internal and external. All activities are carried out are documented GMP procedures which satisfy regulatory requirements.
In this role you will report into the Warehouse Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Pick and issue work orders for manufacturing
- Manage returns from manufacturing areas to the warehouse
- Load/unload trucks
- Label material with correct status labels, sign in/out goods
- Liaise with other internal departments
- Monitor temperatures when required
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines
- Complete administration duties and system updates, as required
- Pack waste for recycling/incineration
- Operate warehouse equipment, including counterbalance fork trucks, pallet trucks, pallet stacker, turret truck, and cherry picker
- Cycle counting and annual stock take
- Any other duties as requested by the Warehouse Manager/Supervisor
Competencies
- Excellent attention to detail
- Excellent written and communication skills
- Ability to update and maintain clear paperwork
- Ability to build relationships and collaborate with others is vital
- Self-starter with demonstrated efficient work methods, analytical & problem solving skills and ability to handle multiple tasks
Qualifications
- Fork truck / Turret truck license advantageous (but training is available)
- Experience working within a pharmaceutical cGMP Environment; with knowledge of EU GMP and US FDA Guidelines
- Knowledge of Computers, Word and Excel
- Previous experience of working in a GMP Warehouse
